Peony Workshop

$125.00

Tuesday, June 11th two different times to select from: 10:00am-12:00pm or 5:30pm-7:30pm

Inspired and surrounded by peonies with a view of the hills of the Finger Lakes we will discuss how we grow and cultivate billowy, beautiful peonies. This workshop will be guided in a discussion, observation and time to design a lush, garden inspired centerpiece.

-Our discussion will be centered on the various types of peonies, planting care and instructions for a healthy plant. We will have a guided lesson on how to pick stems for the best health of the plant.

-We will be designing in our barn area and will provide in season cut flowers, peonies and foliage for you to design with.

-Snacks and beverages will be provided

-We will provide a vessel and sanitized clippers for you to cut stems into your design.

The workshop will be held rain or shine, please dress appropriately and bring or wear boots and a raincoat. Our venue is a farm and has unlevel ground, comfortable shoes/boots are highly recommended.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be given within 24 hours of the event, we prefer that you prefer your transfer your reservation to another person to take your place if you can not attend. Weather permitting, refunds will only be given if we are unable to reschedule the event. You agree to these terms when paying for the workshop.

By purchasing this peony workshop, you acknowledge that we are a working farm and there are inherent risks to participating in activities on our farm. The inherent risks on our farm are unlevel ground, may be holes due to animals, and equipment driving on the soil. As well as; if it has rained the grass and pathways between rows may be slippery. Another inherent risk is that we have pollinators and insects that are attracted to the flowers. While our flowers are beautiful, please do not eat the flowers or their stems and leaves.
